Framed plates from "The Naturalists' Library" by Sir William Jardine (Scottish, 1800-1874), featuring work from William Home Lizars (British, 1788-1859) with delineavit James S. Stewart (Scottish, 1791-1863) and Charles Hamilton Smith (English, 1776-1859). The plates include:

The plates are displayed behind glass with white mats in gilt frames. Eight come in matching frames, while the other two match in another compatible design.
Condition: Displays well with paper toning. A light wrinkle to the paper of plate 5. Minor finish wear and discoloration to frames with a few small spots of finish loss around some corners.
