A finely potted Asian eggshell porcelain tea bowl of circular form. The tea bowl rests on a circular foot ring with an inverted bell form body which slightly everts and rises upwards again near the mouth, leaving the mouth rim with a wider diameter than the overall body.
The tea bowl is enameled in famille rose enamels with gilt finishes. The exterior body decorated with floral and foliate motifs all around the body. A gilt finished branch form, circular reserve depicts 5 iron red and gilt finished magpie birds in flight.
Iron red 6 character mark underfoot.

Condition: There is a minute chip to the interior mouth which is barely noticeable but should be noted. Overall the tea bowl presents very nicely with only minor wear to the enameled decoration. Presents nicely overall.
