Item Description
A lovely cabinet in a useful size for smaller spaces and in a fine satin polish. It has a carved cornice over a delicate patterned inlaid band. The double doors with neo Gothic style mullions and a center brass molding, with a key. The interior lined in ecru watered silk type fabric with two glass shelves. The lower case with drop down secretary with ebonized string inlay opening to a tooled brown leather writing surface and satinwood drawers and arched cubbyholes. With a key. Three lower graduated long drawers with fine brass bales with leafy rosettes (one pull loose but preserved). The shaped skirt rail with curved legs.

Condition: Please see the photos for details of the condition. The right side of the lower case has several stable age cracks, some marks on the left side, the top of the case with a losses to the front corner veneers and stable crack across its top. Some fading to the lower fabric covered top case. There are some expected scrapes to the legs. Really a wonderful Antique Secretary that some restoration will reward.
