18th Century Welsh oak cupboard c. 1770 featuring a scrolled cornice molded cut with three sections of stationary shelving of which the sides are embellished with fluted quarter columns with two spice drawers. The lower portion is fitted with three solid oak drawers fitted with beautiful brass hardware which appears to be original. Serpentine apron and cabriole legs ending with an unusual carved foot. Original hand pegged construction in a deep rich patina with original wax finish.
Loss to left front foot. Purchase in 1992 for $11,500 GBP
