A finely decorated antique 18th C. Chinese export porcelain lidded tea kettle.
Exquisitely painted, with a central shaped reserve depicting figures including attendants and a higher ranking official in an architectural garden, overlooking a harbor with two boats in the distance with fence and a pagoda on the right hand side of the reserve. Wonderful famille rose painted passages with iron reds and underglaze blues decorate the teapot in all-over fashion. Further embellished the teapot has a fabulously painted and modeled branch form faux bois handle and spout. The teapot surmounted with a domed lid with underglaze blue trim and finial atop.
