Ferenc Várdeák (Hungarian, 1897 - 1971) oil on canvas, still life depicted in a classical fused with impressionist manner with bright pops of oranges and pinks against a dark hued horizontal composition. The viewer is brought closer to the field with the table arrangement pushed to the foreground. Signed in black paint lower right. Displayed within a 2-toned gilt carved frame. Ready to hang.
Condition: In overall good condition with expected signs of age and wear including crazing and some debris in frame but can be fixed with a simple cleaning. Prior accession number possibly el verso.
