The painting which depicts a fabulous example of Titian's later works. Titian, known as a master portrait painter displays the female sitter in three quarter profile. The female is depicted wearing a fabulously decorative dress with long gold chain and her hair up. She is depicted against a dark back ground so that the focus is on her alone.
Signed on verso.
Presented in a carved and gilt finished wood frame with a brass finished light overtop.

Condition: The painting presents exceptionally well. There is some slack to the canvas which could be tightened on its stretcher if so desired. Overall a fabulous painting of a fabulous original!
