Item Description
This fabulous oil on board painting uses a vibrant palette and depicts a lush garden park landscape with four female figures depicted enjoying leisurely activities. The landscape is marvelously landscaped with vibrant flowering trees and a lush green ground with body of water in the background.
The painting depicts four women, two are presented seated on a bench with side table containing two vases, one with an abundant floral bouquet. The women seated on the bench in the foreground are possibly a mother and her daughter, both well dressed with the adult woman depicted with a wide brimmed hat reading a book in hand and the adolescent lady in a lavender dress with her hair pulled back.
The women in the background are painted with their backs to the viewer, gazing towards the body of water. These two also appear to be a mother and daughter. The adult is presented as holding a parasol for sun shade, standing with a younger child / daughter whom is depicted wearing a lovely white dress and wide brimmed sun hat.
Signed indistinctly to the lower right corner.
Presented in a carved and gilt finished wood frame.

Condition: The board is loose in it's frame, especially in the upper left corner. Only minor wear to the painted finish and minor nics and losses to the gilt finish on frame. Overall the painting is lovely and once painting is secured it will be wall ready and present fabulously adding color to any room it's added.
