Item Description
A fabulous example of Crown Naples Capodimonte porcelain two handled urn form vase.
Decorated with moulded and polychrome finished decorative motifs.
The vase rests on a square base with circular foot and pedestal. The urn form body decorated with Neoclassical figures in draped robs in the landscape. The shoulder with a decorative gilt finished scroll motif around, while the neck features moulded and paint finished lappets motif. The fabulously stylized scroll form handles with foliate motifs included affix to the shoulder and mouth rim of the vase on either side.
Marked underfoot.

Condition: Wear to the gilt and polychrome finishes of the vase, including to the gilt band around the shoulder and painted elements to the base. There are some nics and minor losses to the stylized handles and wear to the gilt finish around the mouth rim. Despite wear which is commensurate with age and handling, the vase presents very well overall.
