This fabulously decorative lot includes a wonderful antique Continental 800 silver two handled bench form inkwell with hinged lid. The bench has a hinged lid which opens to reveal an interior hinged circular compartment, a removable inkwell on the right and a pierced, removable powder well.
The bench is marvelously decorated with figural imagery seen in relief to the top cushion within reserves bordered by fabulous and intricate scroll form and stands on four legs. The Inkwell is marked to the top cushion and each of the removable wells in the interior are marked underneath.
