Item Description
Exceptionally rare antique parlor stove from Kalamazoo Stove Company. This uncommon, early 20th century Kalamazoo Crown jewel has been completely restored. Number 18 engraved near top. While extremely heavy, many parts of this sizable stove are removable (including decorative silver skirts) for easier transport.
Dimensions (with all pieces attached): 27 1/2" W x 66" H x 27 1/2" D (remeasure, not everything attacked. pieces in box)
Condition: General rust damage to stove in all sections, but most significantly at the bottom half. Black soot residue throughout the majority of stove. Expected ash buildup inside the door. Kalamazoo Crown stamp at front door is still quite reflective and presentable. Door comes off easily (sits on hinges, no screws). Bottom portion of front door (under Kalamazoo label) has plastic attachments in the open areas that are brittle and flaking off. This is a sizable, heavy, one of a kind antique stove that would make for historically accurate décor in an old farm or ranch style home.
