Item Description
Exceptionally large Late 19th/early 20th century Anglo Indian dowry chest. In rectangular form with an oxblood painted finish and garnished with hand forged iron mounts. Top lifts open to reveal large storage space with glove box mounted along the upper left wall, on the floor three panel doors lift open to reveal additional storage. The base with three small drawers along the bottom.
Condition: With expected signs of use including surface scratching and losses to painted finish, pitting and rust to iron mounts, a fantastic piece.
