Serigraph printed exhibition poster for Ernest Trova at Pace Gallery, 1967.
Ernest Trova is an artist whom had no formal training whom began his career as a window dresser for a local Missouri department store. His figural works bear resemblance to mannequin figures which may be a result of working in the department store.
Trova gained fame as an artist and his works are now on display at institutions including the Guggenheim Museum, NY, Museum of Modern Art, NY, along with the Tate Gallery in London amongst others.
The serigraph print depicts an orange square with four recumbent figures in white on each of the squares four sides. The scene is within a tan hued ground with four white circles and further surrounded by a black border band.
Around can be read "Ernest Trova / Recent Sculpture / January 1967 / Pace Gallery / New York" To all four sides of the square serigraph print.
Presented in a chrome finished frame and glazed with glass.

Condition: The printed poster appears to have waves and could be removed and pulled tight and re framed if desired but overall the printed poster is in good form and presents nicely.
