Item Description
Marks for London on one side and the base - Britannia, date mark, and lion's head, maker's mark for Thomas Parr I (he worked late 17th-early 18th c.). Probably reign of Queen Ann. An elegant tea caddy with top rounded corners and cap with incised lines and peg finial.
Produced at the time when tea and tea service became in vogue with imports from the orient.
