About the Artist:
Elmer Livingston MacRae was an American artist known for painting and pastel. He studied at the Art Students League of New York. MacRae was the treasurer of the 1913 Armory Show, the first secretary-treasurer of the American Pastel Society, and a member of the Greenwich Society of Artists.
