Ellsworth Kelly (American, 1923 - 2015) was an American Modern artist whom worked with media ranging from painting, sculpture and printmaking. Working primarily in the Color Field, Minimalist abstract modern style, Kelly's work primarily emphasizes line, color and form. Kelly began making prints during the mid 1960s.
Ellsworth Kelly's works can be found in numerous important collections and institutions for Modern art throughout the world including: The Whitney Museum of American Art, Museum of Modern Art (MOMA) New York, "Centre Pompidou, Paris, the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía, Madrid, the Governor Nelson A. Pencil signed and numbered out of plate. Signed in the lower right quadrant and numbered '41 / 75' in the left hand quadrant.
