Item Description
Oil on board depicting a folk art scene with boys and girls playing baseball on a green mound beneath a dutch colonial, hanging floral baskets calling attention to the white balusters of the porch. The foreground with a server preparing the white linen covered table, spectators enjoying the game and a little girl and her mother tend to the garden.
The painting with a black painted mat with gilt stenciled style leaves and shell corner motif.
Presented in a gilt frame.
Signed lower right Elizabeth Mumford. Small paper label taped on verso with artist and title of the work/gallery price of $4000.
The border with red painted letters of title.
