This elegant French Louis Philippe commode from the 1840s is a stunning example of craftsmanship. The piece is constructed withbookmatched burled walnut and features its original Saint Anne marble top with an ogee edge and canted corners. The plinth base and sabot feet add balance to the overall design. The five-drawer commode has four upper drawers with center brass escutcheons and bronzed fish and shell pulls, which not only add to its decorative appeal but also protect the wood from iron keys. In addition to the five drawers, there is also a secret hidden apron drawer. This exceptional commode offers ample storage and is sure to make a statement in any room. Originally $4,950
