Edward Loyal Field (French-American, 1856-1914) etching depicting a rural cottage surrounded by quaint natural landscape with autumnal trees at the foreground next to a pond under a vast, clear sky. Plate signed lower left, pencil signed lower right. Fine print above the image reads "Copyright New York 1890." Displayed behind glass with tiered gray, gilt, and white mats in a beautifully distressed gilt frame that compliments the subject.
Condition: Displays well with minor paper toning and light waving to mats. Fine checking throughout the frame and scattered edgewear that adds nicely to the rustic appearance. Please note that the areas of lighter hue at the top right of the glass and the bottom center are reflections of studio lighting.
