Item Description
Early 20th century mahogany secretary bookcase. With broken bonnet top over two inset glass paneled doors that open to reveal two bisecting shelves within a large storage compartment. Slanted drop down falls to reveal pigeon holes and small drawers over a simple writing platform. The base with a bay of four stacked long drawers with serpentine fronts and accented with Chippendale-style pulls. Raised on ball and claw feet.
Condition: Expected signs of use including scratches, most notable along interior of drop portion of desk, all appear be easily concealed with a corrective polish. Wear along the top edge of slant lid and veneer loss as indicated in photographs. wear along drawer edges. Finial detached but included
