Item Description
Early 20th century Junghans Wuttemberg mahogany wall clock displaying a straight, beveled bonnet overhanging alternating floral and fluted bands. Fluted columnar posts flank the body, leading to foliate flourishes above gadrooned pedestals. The body is encased with glass panels, allowing a view of a white dial with stippled brass trims around Roman numerals. The clock finishes with a tiered gadrooned base. Maker's mark on dial.
Condition: Pendulum included. The working condition has not been tested. Separation and minor interior damage around the mitered corners of the body. Missing bottom finials. Wood checking on the door above the dial. Finish wear and edge wear, scuffs and nicks.
