Early 20th Century [12] piece set C.T. Altwasser Porcelain canisters made in Silesia, Germany founded by Carl Tielsch in 1845. This set according to its trademark on underside dates 1925-1927. In a cylindrical form, partly ribbed exterior decorated with a porcelain or wood lid, accented with a purple floral transferware motif along exterior repeated along lid, above gilt name of contents. Finished with a gold rim. The collection includes the following:

- Salt - with wooden lid, not numbered, and bears three drilled holes on the back.
- Vinegar - with cork
- Oil - with cork
(Lid & base marked “5” on underside):
- Coffee - missing its finial for lid.
- Tea
- Flour
- Rice
(Lid and bottom marked with “0” on underside):
- Allspice- lid has a minor hairline from exterior to interior.
- Pepper - base quite possibly repaired with a 3” hairline to front that continues to underside, but well disguised.
- Sugar
- Cinnamon
- Cloves
Condition: In overall good condition with expected signs of age and wear including minor loss of finish and fading of gold and otherwise mentioned specifically above. Please refer to photography.
