Divine Pair Of Sevres Style, Art Nouveau Inspired, Ormulu Mounted Porcelain Urns, Signed Collot

Divine, antique, pair of Sevres style, Art Nouveau inspired, ormulu mounted, hand painted porcelain urns, signed "Collot" within the decorative imagery.
The urns feature wonderful ormulu, gilt bronze mounts. Standing on gilt bronze, ormulu base with four feet, two double hoof form and two architectural form with scroll work and acorn form finials.
The hand painted foot with fabulously detailed hand painted decorative motifs in polychrome colors.
There is an ormulu section mounted to the top of the foot pedestal affixing it with the base of the urn.
The urn with all over pastel hued enameled paint with Neoclassical reserves depicting a winged cherub with bow riding a magnificent swan in a naturalistic marsh landscape to one side. The opposite decorated with a delightful reserve depicting a reclined woman in pink draped dress gazing at her reflection in a hand held mirror, while a winged cherub brings flowers and can be seen just behind her mirror. Both reserves are enveloped in decorative, shaped and gilt finished trim with wonderful floral and cell pattern motif in polychrome colors.

The shoulders mounted with magnificently cast and gilt finished, ormulu fauna form handles, one to either side.
The mouth rim of the urn body is mounted with ormulu collar which the pedestal form neck with round base, thin, cylindrical form and bulbous mouth rim which itself is surmounted with a magnificent openwork cast ormulu flame form finial.

The urns are composed of three hand painted porcelain sections, connected with magnificent gilt bronze, ormulu mounts. A metallic column fitted through the center of each section keeps the vases tight and together.

The urns are signed "Collot" within the hand painted, reserves and can be seen in lot images.
19th - 20th C.

Condition: There is movement within some of the mounted sections which could be tightened to give strength and preservation to the urns. There is wear, oxidation and loss of some of the gilt finish to the ormulu, gilt bronze mounts. Some nics and losses of finish to the painted porcelain commensurate with age, some handling and display over time. There is wear to the enameled finish around where the ormulu mounts affix to the porcelain commensurate with rubbing and wear. Despite wear, these urns present magnificently and will surely enhance any place they ultimately reside.
