This lovely and decorative Chinese, Ming Dynasty style, porcelain bowl features is circular with gently upturned rim. The traditional Ming Dynasty style wucai decoration includes underglaze blue and white with enameled decoration added after the first firing.
The bowl's polychrome imagery depicts deer amongst foliage and pine trees.
The underside has an underglaze double rings around the mouth and foot rim along with polychromed floral decoration around the edge.
There is also an underglazed blue double circle to the central underside where there is an apocryphal Ming Dynasty, Chenghua six character mark but not of the period.
There is a sticker on the top side from "Main Street Antiques / Saugatuck, Mich."
