Spend a fun day in the field with Frank Mantlik at one of his favorite birding locations. Location, time and date are to be mutually decided. Bring binoculars, camera and dress according to the weather. Location depending upon season, weather and, of course, birds!
Frank has a BS degree in Biology from the University of Connecticut. He has been a long-time member and supporter of The Connecticut Audubon Society, and currently serves on the Milford Coastal Center Advisory Board. He was a founding director of the Connecticut Ornithological Association, served as a past President, and currently serves on its Avian Records Committee. He now works as a sought-after bird-guide for Sunrise Birding tours (www.sunrisebirding.com), having travelled through the Americas, Europe, and Thailand. He is an accomplished bird and nature photographer, with numerous publication credits. His work appears at http://www.flickr.com/photos/avocetfm/. He loves sharing his knowledge of birds and nature with others, leading local CT walks through the year, and he frequently gives presentations to various nature groups. He and his wife, Linda, reside in Stratford, Connecticut.
