Item Description
Comprised of:
- A brass square form saucer tray with bronzed patina, sporting a decorative calligraphic mark underfoot.
- A Chinese underglaze blue and white porcelain tea bowl, with figural decoration and an apocryphal six character Yongzheng, Qing dynasty reign mark but not of the period. 20th C.
- A Chinese Doucai decorated porcelain Mandarin duck tea bowl with copper mounted mouth rim. The bowl with Doucai decoration has underglaze blue and overglaze enameled decoration. With an underglaze blue six character Ming reign mark within double blue squares underfoot, but not of the period, made later, likely 20th C.
Condition
The copper mounted doucai tea bowl has a hairline extending down from the mouth rim approximately 1" and another hairline opposite of it extending down from the rim approximately 1/4" The brass saucer has bends and dings and losses of patina all commensurate with age and use.
