The group of three figures bear some resemblance to the pair of Japanese folklorish figures known as Ashinaga - tenaga, whom were a pair of figures, one having overly long, stretched arms, while the other has overly long and extended legs.
These three figures are carved and paint finished wood. Each is portrayed in a different position, but all are depicted wearing a red clothing garment with distinctive faces with open mouths.
