Item Description
A wonderful collection of two Chinese carved jade and jadeite miniature scholarly objects on fitted wood stands.
The lot includes:
- A nicely carved white jade water coupe / brush washer with carved and pierced foliate decoration. The brush washer is set and has been glued into a fitted wood stand.
1 1/8"h x 2 3/8"l x 1 3/4"w - on stand
- A wonderfully carved jadeite two handled censer with its lid, on a fitted wood stand which itself stands on four legs. The censer is square form, resting atop four legs. The censer has two outswept form handles. Resting on top of the censer is its cover which is square form and has a square form finial.

Condition: There is some putty residue around the mouth rim of the censer which was used to stick the lid to the censer so it doesn't got lost. The putty could easily be removed by scraping off. There is also some glue residue around where the four legs of the censer are affixed to the wood stand which has some loss of finish.
Overall light wear to both but the two miniature scholarly objects are lovely.
