Dated May 8, 1937 letter from the office of F.W. von Meister, New York, NY, certifying that a letter intended for Mr. W.R. Hildebrand carried by the Hindenburg on her last trip could not be delivered as it was destroyed in the tragic accident. Pencil signed 'M. Zabel, Postmaster on board Airship "Hindenburg"', who was aboard the Hindenburg's last flight and was able to jump to safety before the crash. Presented in a plastic sleeve.
