This lovely Christofle French silver plated "Trefles Bowl" comes with it's original box and cover and a card inside denoting the bowl is a museum reproduction, stating: "Around 1890, even before the predominance of Art Nouveau, nature was the inspiration for several silvertsmith artists who created objects that took their forms from flora and fauna. Created in 1887 by Jules Brateau, the Trefles dish became part of the Bouilbet-Christofle Museum collection in 1930s..."
The silver plated dish is circular with applied vine and clover decoration and stands on a circular foot.
