His paintings seek to capture the atmosphere, light, and character of a place, transforming familiar scenes into vibrant interpretations that encourage viewers to see well-known surroundings with fresh eyes. His work has been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions throughout the UK, including solo exhibitions at the Pavilion Gallery, Penarth, in 2025 and 2026, and he served as Artist in Residence at The Celtic Manor Resort from 2013 to 2020. His work and career have appeared in publications including the Western Mail, The Argus, GQ Magazine, and Inside Artists. Langley paints from his studio in Newport, where private viewings are available by appointment, and he also accepts commissioned works. Above all, his paintings are intended to rekindle memories and personal connections to place, with Langley considering it the greatest compliment when a viewer recognizes in a painting exactly how a familiar place feels to them.
