Wilfred J. “Chick” Huettel (American, b. 1942) oil on canvas board depicting a farmer in blue overalls walking along a post fence on a field with light green grass over orange-brown earth. A lush border of foliage along the horizon leads to a peach hued sky. Signed lower right. The back is hand labeled "Hillside Sr. Walton County, FL 1991." Displayed in a deeply beveled gilt wood frame.
Condition: Displays well with minor discoloration. Craquelure to the gilt finish of the frame, with spots of finish loss, notably at the lower left.
