Charles Fazzino (American, b. 1955) "Money Doesn't Grow on Trees" large three-dimensional serigraph depicting an ornate arrangement of figures and landmark architecture surrounding a central tree emerging from a columned building among a colorful city skyline. The branches support paper currency cutouts accented with glitter, with neon green horizontal borders displaying stock market boards. Vibrantly colored and beautifully constructed, it is easy to let the eyes travel over each detail, finding something new to look at each time. Pencil signed lower right, numbered 246/300 lower left. Displayed behind glass with tiered black mats in a simple beveled black frame.
Verbal provenance: Originally purchased for $4,500.
Condition: Displays well with a small glitter flake that has become detached and is loose at the bottom of the frame interior. Scattered scuffs, edgewear, and light discoloration to the frame that does not significantly detract from appearance.
