Item Description

A handsome Century Chair Co. bergere in classic Louis XV style, designed with a dark warm-toned brown carved fruitwood frame with a foliate crest at the center of the rounded top rail. The ears gently curve in a nearly wing-like manner, leading into rail arms without upholstered arm pads. Upholstered in blue and brown fabric with piped trims. Beautifully carved with flowers on the serpentine apron and raised over cabriole legs.

Condition

With missing arm pads, minor spot stains to upholstery, and a detaching piped trim around the edge. Gentle wear to the frame. Overall in good form, for refurbishment/reupholstery or can easily be enjoyed as is.
