Brilliant hand woven Persian, Sarouk style carpet. With a central rectangular field well decorated with an abundance of floral decoration of varying hues and form around a central medallion.
A thin border band with a blue hue separating the central field which is on red ground with the outer band on blue ground decorated with foliate and floral motifs.
Fringe to two ends.

Condition: The carpet is slightly sun struck to the outer sections as a dining table covered the central section which appears slightly darker. Overall the carpet is in good form with minimal wear and despite being slightly sun struck presents handsomely.
