Hector Navarro (Mexico 1937-) limited edition lithograph, pencil signed and numbered 31 /40.
Hector Navarro was born in Mexico in 1937. His work has been primarily influenced by the 1950s and Post-War modernism with focused attention on his New York and American artistic peers during the period. His figural abstractions are highly expressionistic and creative.
This work depicts a field of blue, with two white cubes and what appears to be match sticks throughout the blue field.
This wonderful lithographic print depicts an other worldly abstraction with figural heads seen in opposite directions of the two toned orange and green field of ground color. Navarro uses wonderful detailing to the figural image on the right side of the picture and as a whole the work presents sensationally.
Presented on a green matt within a gilt frame and glazed.
