William Thomas Manning (U.S. Episcopal Bishop of N.Y., 1866-1949) typed & handwritten correspondence to Yale President Dr. James R. Angell regarding attending a dinner in the future sent from the office in the Synod House, Cathedral Heights, on May 6th, 1941 and appreciation note to Mrs. Angell for both of their kindness and spirit from Mount Desert, Maine on August 3rd, 1949.
Condition: In overall good condition with expected signs of age including creases and one faint spot towards the end of the typed letter near edge.
