An excellent Biedermeier armoire crafted with eye-catching walnut veneers French polished to a highly reflective finish in warm-toned medium brown, showcasing a minimalist rectangular frame with a straight, beveled crown and a large, single door sporting shapely recessed paneling with a brass shield form key escutcheon. The door opens to three wood shelves within against a backboard with beautiful knotty details. Raised on stout, ebonized bracket feet for a nice touch of contrast.
Condition
Nicely polished with no veneer losses. The veneer has areas of lighter coloring that may look like losses but are not. Minor finish wear to the feet. Overall a very handsome piece.
