Bev Doolittle (American, 1947-) Lithograph “When the Wind Had Wings”, signed edition 37836/57500 depicts a horizontal scene of cascading horses running to the right, as their spots manifest into birds that fly off to the edge. Signature stamp on bottom and signed in pencil beside numbered edition. Below is also framed the poem that was created by her husband which was inspired by the Indian reservation near San Jacinto Mountains in Palm Springs, California. Thoughtfully mounted in a handsome burled and ebonized frame beneath glass. Artist info en verso copyrighted 1994 by The Greenwich Workshop.
Condition: In overall good condition with expected signs of age especially along corners of frame and slight indent as indicated in last photo but is not easily noticeable. Attached hardware on back, just needs to be wired.
