Benjamin Franklin original hand printed leaf from 1705 “A Reply to Mr. Samuel Finley’s Vindication of the Charitable Plea for the Speechless” page 109-110 ‘ written by Abel Morgan printed by Franklin in his Market Street Shop. This books concerns a heated disagreement between Finley and Morgan regarding Christian beliefs. Franklin printed 500 copies of this book of which only 17 are presently in libraries and historical societies. Once advertised in the Pennsylvania Gazette in December 11, 1705.’ This content rests inside in its folder that accompanies the leaf which is presented in a sleeve attached and carefully displayed with additional historical content and the copy of the cover page.
Condition: In overall good condition with expected signs of age including toning and fading but adds to aesthetic of piece.
