Beautiful George III style Satinwood inlaid Mahogany desk with a gilt tooled, burgundy leather top. The gilt tooled, burgundy leather has been inset into the top of the desk in three sections making for spectacular presentation. Complete with a centrally located, longer, two handled drawer. Complete with a total of eight more two handled storage drawers, four on each side of the desk. There are fitted openings for modern electrical wires, including power and other computer or phone cords that can be strung through the top and side of the desk.

Condition: There is wear and surface scratches to the wood and leather seen throughout. There are minor portions, as seen in the lot photographs, of wood trim which has been broken off. The wood grain displays age and use related surface scratches in addition to the leather topped sections which have nics, stains and general signs of wear. All wear commensurate with age and use and the desk is of good sturdy construction. Some of the drawers are tight and would benefit from some grease to loosen. Some amount of restoration or refurbishment would breath new life into this wonderfully hand crafted desk.
