A fantastic hand-stitched leather donkey form footstool. Attributed to Dimitro Omersa.
The playful donkey has wonderful floppy ears and leather rolled eyes. The leather has a fantastic aged patina.
Condition
There is cracking to the leather and wear along the hand-stitched seams. It appears the tail has been lost and no longer remains with the donkey. The front left leg is broken and does not support weight the way the other three legs do but for use as decoration the donkey does stand. See lot images as they are included in the condition report.
