Light gray washed tones create shadows and brick details along arched windows with trefoil motifs, dotted with foliage around a walkway along calm water. Pencil marked upper left appearing "a Celle 1813." A leaflet affixed to the back reads "Abbaye de la Celle-encre de Chine-Var-Dati 1813." with a handwritten label of the artist's name. Displayed behind glass with white and gilt mats accented by drawn brown borders in a rustic gilt frame.
Condition: Displays well with minor paper wear around the edges and light paper toning. The frame has an intentionally distressed appearance, with minor additional spots of finish wear and scuffs.
