Attributed to Benjamin Chambers Brown (American [CA], 1865-1942) watercolor on paper depicting a pond in front of a large building in impressionist hues of pastel indigo, salmon pink, green, and brown. Displayed with an artist's attribution behind glass with a teal-blue mat accented with gilt borders in a fluted gray-gilt frame.
Condition: Displays well; a small tear at the upper left corner. Scattered residue to the mat. Minor finish wear to the frame with a spot of loss to the corner. The tape lining the back has been removed in order to inspect the piece out of the frame.
