The group of four men surround the game table, and are dressed in period attire set in a brick walled interior with wooden barrels lined up behind. Signed lower left, ‘Raufer’, in black paint. Displayed within a heavily carved gilt frame. Ready to hang.
Condition: In overall good condition with expected signs of age and wear including some scratched marks and incisions and minor losses of paint to canvas and frame. Stretched with a significant amount of the painted canvas folded and minor separation between frame but does not detract from quality of piece. Not examined out of frame. Includes a sawtooth hook el verso.
