An excellent antique arm chair with transitional Biedermeier/Empire appeal circa 1840-1860. Well crafted with a rolled back and affixed seat upholstered in green, orange, and brown vertically striped rug patterns leading to a warm-toned medium brown carved wood frame with gently curved arms and scrolled arm fronts, a straight apron, and foliate knees on cabriole front legs finishing with stately hair paw feet.

Fully restored; presents well overall. Fading to the uphosltery.
