The Holy Bible, Oxford: Printed at the University Press. Sold by E. Gardner and Son, 1848.
Verbal Provenance: Previously belonging to George Bryant Woods (1844-1871) from Barre, MA. He served in the 8th Massachusetts Battery as a journalist during the war.
The Holy Bible, New York: American Bible Society, 1860.
Psalter, with Hebrew and Latin texts. A handwritten note on the back page is dated 1870.
"A Revised Translation and Interpretation of the Sacred Scriptures after the Eastern Manner" Glasgow: sold by R. Hutchison & Co., 1815.
"The Book of Common Prayer, and Administration of the Sacraments, and other Rites and Ceremonies of the Church, according to the use of The Church of England: Together with the Psalter or Psalms of David, pointed as they are to the sung or said in Churches; and the form or manner of making, ordaining, and consecrating of Bishops, Priests, and Deacons." Cambridge: printed by John Archdeacon, 1778.
Condition: Books have varying degrees of wear commensurate with age. Detached covers, leather wear, discoloration and paper wear. "The Book of Common Prayers" is unbound at the spine and is missing the spine cover.
