Platinum chain and lorgnette pendant. This antique necklace is dazzling, breathtaking and spectacular. It starts with a diamonds by the yards style necklace, consisting of filigree placques; plain rectangular shaped, alternating with elongated diamond shaped, which are set with graduated, faceted round diamonds. The chain ends at a center "Y" with a bezel set diamond, and a chain drop that finishes with a spring ring. The total weight of the chain is approximately 0.64 TCW, and the back clasp of the chain is fitted with a spring ring clasp.
Suspended from the drop, is a lorgnette* pendant, with a filigree handle and set with diamonds (approximately 0.35 TCW) on the top side and finished with a milgrain style edging. The lorgnette opens into spectacles.
The necklace is detachable from the pendant.
