Magnificent pair of Chinese, Qing Dynasty, Kangxi Period (1662 - 1722) circa 1700, Imari decorated porcelain baluster vases with dome formed covers. The vases stand on a circular foot ring gently rising to a more bulbous shoulder before turning inwards to form the cylindrical neck on which the circular covers with spade form finials rest.
This pair of vases feature classical Imari decoration with underglaze blue and overglaze enamels including iron red and gold.
Decorated with peony and scrolling foliate decoration throughout.
Both vases with a collection sticker denoting the vases came from Santos of London and each is from the Kangxi reign (1662-1722)

Condition: There are small areas of loss to the overglaze enamels and minor nics and minute chips to the cover rims but overall both are in good condition and present fabulously.
