Standing on four painted and carved wood, cushion form supports this lovely antique blanket chest has a hinged top which opens to reveal a large interior storage compartment with a small shelf to the upper left for smaller items. The chest has iron handles and a decorative painted finish.

Condition: There is heavy wear to the painted finish with nics, chips and seam splits to the wood frame which can be seen in the attached lot images. The chest could be re finished and restored or enjoyed as is for its incredibly rustic qualities
